Going Home

When your doctor decides you are ready to leave the hospital, a discharge order will be written and reviewed with you.

You may want to make arrangements with a family member or friend to help you when it’s time to leave. When you are ready to leave, a staff member or a volunteer will escort you to your car.

Personal Belongings

Please collect all your belongings and check closets and drawers. If you have items stored in the hospital safe, please ask your nurse to get the items for you. If after returning home you realize you have left something at the hospital, please call Security Services.
