Holland Hospital Midwife Services provides deliveries at Boven Birth Center at the hospital’s main campus and personalized obstetric and routine gynecological care at the Holland Hospital Medical Building in Zeeland. 

Certified Nurse Midwives

Every woman has unique needs and preferences when it comes to childbirth. That’s why Boven Birth Center now offers the option of certified nurse midwives (CNM) to complement our other prenatal care and delivery services. The midwives are supported in a collaborative care model by the experienced physicians at Ob/Gyn Associates of Holland.

Each midwife holds an advanced nursing degree and is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Their patient-centered approach offers extended appointment times, personalized support, and the information you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, delivery and overall health.

Our nurse midwives also offer the following:

• Prenatal care
• Labor and delivery support at Boven Birth Center
• Postpartum care
• Annual well-woman preventive care, including breast exams and cervical cancer screenings
• Preconception counseling
• Family planning/contraception counseling
• IUD and birth control implants
• Gynecologic problem visits
