Holland Hospital is a Place of Healing and Comfort

To ensure a safe, caring and healing environment for all, we expect all patients and visitors to treat employees, providers, volunteers, patients, and visitors with respect at all times.

  • NO forms of aggressive behavior will be tolerated. 
  • Disruptive behavior that compromises care provided by staff members is prohibited
  • Respect everyone’s privacy by staying in your family member or loved one’s room. 
  • Incidents of aggression may result in removal from the facility and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. 
  • Please notify a staff member if you witness any aggressive behavior in the hospital.

Examples of aggressive behavior include: 

  • Verbal Harassment       
  • Physical Assault      
  • Incivility, Abusive or Foul Language       
  • Threats       
  • Destruction or Damage to Hospital Property

Security and Law Enforcement will be utilized to protect the safety of our staff, providers, volunteers, patients and visitors.

Masks

Masks are optional at all Holland Hospital facilities including offsite locations and Holland Hospital physician offices. Isolation precautions will remain in place for patients with COVID-19 or other infectious diseases. If you are showing symptoms of respiratory illness or fever, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask. Masks are available if you choose to wear one. 

All Holland Hospital locations are tobacco free. 

The use of tobacco of any kind, including smokeless tobacco and e-cigarettes is not allowed in our buildings, on our grounds or in parking lots. Our mission is to improve the health of the community, and we are committed to the health and well-being of our patients, visitors, employees, volunteers and providers. Thank you for not smoking or using tobacco while at Holland Hospital locations and supporting our efforts to create a healthier environment for everyone. If you are a patient, we can provide nicotine replacement options if you talk to your nurse or provider.
