More than just a hospital, Holland Hospital is a dedicated partner in community health. Our mission extends far beyond the hospital walls: to continually improve the health of the communities we serve in the spirit of hope, compassion, respect, and dignity. For over 25 years Holland Hospital has funded Community Outreach Programs that expands our reach of care to our most at-risk and vulnerable community members.
Holland Community Health Center
The Holland Community Health Center provides primary medical services for all—regardless of age, language, cultural barriers, health insurance or ability to pay. More than 4,600 patients are treated yearly, with well-child checkups, immunizations and chronic disease management as the most common appointments. School Nurse Program
The Holland Hospital School Nurse Program provides quality, compassionate nursing care in a school environment to facilitate healthy learners and promote healthy lifestyles in our partnership schools. The School Nurse Program addresses the health needs for over 13,000 children in six local school districts. Learn more about the School Nurse Program.
Breast Care Fund
For those without insurance, who are underinsured or who have high deductibles, the Breast Care Fund helps cover the cost of screening and diagnostic mammograms, including follow up services such as ultrasounds and biopsies. This fund aims to remove the financial barriers that may deter at-risk women in our community from seeking vital breast care services. Learn more about the Breast Care Fund.
School Mental Health Program
The School Mental Health Program is exclusively designed to address, evaluate and treat the mental health issues our children are facing. This program coordinates and manages care between the school, family, caregivers, physicians and/or hospital to help ensure more successful outcomes for our most at-risk students. Memorial Fund: Keeping Memories Alive
Many families choose to honor their loved ones by creating a memorial fund in their memory. Often, these meaningful tributes are designated for a program that touched or made a difference in the life of their loved one in some way.

Lights of Love: Delivering comfort for over 30 years
Each year the Holland Hospital Volunteer Council shines a light on patient comfort through its Lights of Love campaign. When you honor a loved one's memory or recognize someone special with a donation to Lights of Love, you also deliver an added touch of care to patients. Check back for details on the 2024 campaign.
