As a trusted community resource for more than 100 years, Holland Hospital’s reputation along the West Michigan lakeshore has become synonymous with quality, compassion, expertise and advanced technology. As a part of Holland Hospital, Lakeshore Health Partners (LHP) also delivers on these promises.
This fall, Lakeshore Health Partners will be rebranded under the Holland Hospital name. For example, what was LHP Ear, Nose & Throat will now be Holland Hospital Ear, Nose & Throat.
“Not everyone may have realized that our physician practices were under the Holland Hospital umbrella,” said Michelle Doctor, vice president, Holland Hospital Medical Group. “Our rebranding reflects who we really are and reinforces our collective strengths. The greater awareness that we’re all part of one group will enhance our reputation as the area’s leading health care provider.”
Lakeshore Health Partners was formed in 2009 as a single internal medicine practice with seven doctors and has since grown into a medical group that now includes 21 practices with over 300 staff and will have 49 physicians by the end of 2020. 154,000 patient visits were recorded in 2019 alone and the group has also provided over 7,200 virtual visits since March 2020. These numbers are expected to continue to increase.
“As a physician group, we’re excited to more broadly demonstrate our alignment with Holland Hospital,” said Dr. Mark Stid, LHP managing physician. “There will be no question in the minds of our patients and community that we are part of the Holland Hospital family.”
Over the next few months, patients can anticipate to see a variety of changes such as new logos and an integrated website, with the first occurring on Monday, August 10 when Lakeshore Health Partners – Women’s Health reopens as Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care at the newly renovated facility at 844 Washington Ave, Building Entrance B in Holland.
“While the Lakeshore Health Partners brand will now be known as Holland Hospital, one thing will never change—the outstanding commitment that our physician group has for high quality patient care,” Doctor added.
The Bone & Joint Center and Western Michigan Urological Associates remain part of Holland Hospital’s medical group and are not affected.a
