As part of its 2025 analysis, Healthgrades identified top-performing hospitals for outpatient orthopedic procedures based on patient outcomes. The study found that patients treated at hospitals with nationally recognized programs had a significantly lower risk of complications. If all hospitals achieved similar levels of excellence, on average, 35,563 complications could potentially have been avoided.*
