HOLLAND, Mich., March 25, 2025 — The highly anticipated Holland Hospital Culinary Cabaret returned on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Pinnacle Center, delivering an unforgettable evening of culinary artistry and community spirit, celebrating 30 years of the Holland Community Health Center (HCHC). The event raised a record-breaking $243,936 to support HCHC's crucial work.
The 2025 Culinary Cabaret was a feast for the senses, featuring exquisite dishes prepared by the lakeshore's finest culinary talents. Participating restaurants included 1983 Restaurants, Big Lake Brewing, Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant and Events Center - part of RedWater Restaurant Group, Borrowed Time, Butch's Dry Dock, Crane's Pie Pantry Restaurant & Winery and Crane's In The City, Culture Cheese Shop, Fenn Valley Vineyard & Wine Cellar, Gilmore Catering, Holland Cakery 'n' Sweets, Hudsonville Ice Cream, Mezkla Taqueria, The Pinnacle Center, Tulyp Hotel and Uncommon Coffee Roasters.
Over 500 guests and volunteers enjoyed live entertainment and lively silent and live auctions offering unique and desirable packages. However, the true highlight of the evening was the collective effort to support the Holland Community Health Center, celebrating its 30 years of service. One highlight of the evening included a video featuring commentary from the first HCHC executive director, Lupita Reyes.
HCHC provides essential primary, behavioral health, and preventative care, as well as obstetrics, well-patient visits, and children's health. Beyond traditional health care, HCHC addresses barriers to access by offering transportation and social services. The funds raised at the Culinary Cabaret will directly contribute to HCHC's ability to continue and expand its mission, ensuring that everyone in the community has access to quality healthcare.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming success of the 2025 Culinary Cabaret," said Colleen Perdok, fund development coordinator at Holland Hospital. "Celebrating 30 years of HCHC, the energy and generosity displayed by our attendees, sponsors, and volunteers were truly remarkable. This event exemplifies the power of community coming together to make a meaningful difference."
In 2024, HCHC served 5,497 patients with nearly 16,000 patient visits. Last year, the Culinary Cabaret raised $232,299.
Holland Hospital sincerely appreciates the event's generous sponsors, including Platinum Partners EV Construction, Holland Hospital Physician Offices, and TriMedx. The event was co-chaired by Drs. Karen Foulds and Mark Stid, and Dr. Bruce and Nicole Stewart, and was hosted by television personality and national spokesperson Jordan Carson.
