Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary Names Scholarship Recipients
Holland Hospital’s Volunteer Auxiliary Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the recipients of the Auxiliary’s 2013 Scholarship Awards. College students Alleta Huisman, Lance Jongekrijg, Shelby Moeke, and Elizabeth Ott were each awarded a scholarship in the amount of $3,000 to be used toward their college education.
Huisman attends Trinity Christian College in the Chicago area, studying to be an Occupational Therapist. Jongekrijg will graduate this spring from Alma College with a degree in Integrative Physiology and Health Science and will pursue a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Moeke attends Ferris State University and is majoring in Allied Health Sciences with a goal to become a pediatric dental hygienist. Ott attends Baker College of Muskegon’s School of Nursing and will be graduating in June 2014 with her nursing degree.
The awards were presented at the Annual Meeting of the Hospital Auxiliary on April 29, marking the sixth year of the Holland Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Program.
